Water Heater Spraying Water From Top

Is the water heater spraying water from above? 3

I just heard the spray and saw bats and water coming out of the top. This is a gas water heater (I think). I'm sure, but when it comes to things like that, I'm sure. We have to turn it on, I think it has gas in it. Everything should be stopped there. Do you like dryers and washing machines? I am worried. Is this medicine?

And it seems to be rapidly destroying it. I'm afraid we have a TV and a sofa. Is there a way to turn it off?

Normally, water enters and leaves the water heater from above and is pressurized, causing spraying. Most work is best done by a plumber throughout the day, and it can be done quite quickly. Keep calling until you find someone who can be served in an hour or less. Generally, a water heater needs to be replaced after about 10 years. So if your water heater is old or out of date and the plumber says it needs to be replaced, buy a new one. Otherwise they can fix the leak and you may not need a new water heater.

You must turn off the water completely and call the plumber. The same thing happened with our water heater which is more than 13 years old. The water has just come in from above and there is actually a signal light on top of the device. We needed to buy a new kettle.

Also, our heaters run on propane, but we didn't mind closing the propane connection at the time. The plumber finished the job, but before he could change the lights.

It appears that the upper temperature limit has been exceeded until the water has evaporated, causing the pressure relief valve to burst and release the water as a spray.

Turn off the heater by turning off the heating gas or lowering the temperature as much as possible. Get the refrigerator repaired.

Don't fix it, you're wasting your money. There should be a shut-off valve at the top of the tank to allow water to enter. Turn it off and also turn off the gas at the bottom of the tank. If water leaks from above, there is a leak and the tank needs to be replaced. When it comes out, the pressure relief valve simply shuts off the thermostat and allows it to cool for a few hours before turning it on again at low temperature. Attitude

It can have automatic ventilation in the upper part of the boiler which allows water to flow out of the boiler. If so, you need to replace this valve.

Turn off the water and gas supply! Ask a technician to check. Maybe your drain valve.
