This means that the solution to a problem multiplies over time. As time goes on, we run out of options. Think of it as if you were in a room when you tried to escape and a wall surrounded you.
The Wall Close describes the feeling of being trapped in a situation that is difficult to get out of.
(In North Caa we use the same expression after a long, severe winter, but it has more literal meaning because bad weather will get people into it, we have a fever.)

This means that if you turn right (the wall will block you and trap you), you will not have much time to do so.
This is an indication that there may be a crime. This usually means that you know it is going to happen and you can see what is going to happen, but it takes time and it bothers you before it actually happens.
