Verizon Vodafone Sim Card
Verizon / Vodafone SIM card on Barry Tour to use in Italy? 3
I bought a tourist bag on my Verizon a few years ago and now I want to use it in Italy. It has a Verizon SIM card (also called Vodafone). So I was wondering if I could take it to Vodafone in Italy and they could handle it. Or should I unlock the tour and get a new SIM card? Thank you very much.!
Verizon is a CDMA operator and CDMA pneumatic lines work without the need for a SIM card. When using Verizon plans abroad, your Verizon SIM card is used to access the GSM network.
Your device supports GSM / CDMA.
I don't really know ... but I suggest you buy a Vodafone SIM card while you're here ... it costs 5Â and comes with 5Â credit :)
And to use your S you have to pay extra which they call Opzione Berry + Mole Internet ... € 5 per week if I am right :)

You do not have a Verizon SIM card.
Verizon uses only SIM cards in its new 4G LTE devices.
You must unlock it for use with other wireless companies.
