(Super Video CD). CD-ROM with high quality video and audio. Typically, an SVCD can store approximately 3.545 minutes (650 MB) of stereo quality video and audio. Video and audio are saved in MPEG2 format, similar to DVD. SVCD videos are of higher quality than VHS videos.
