I have a 37 inch LG LCD TV.

Pull the plug connected to the SIMPLINK socket on the back of the TV.

To reset the microphone, unplug the TV from the wall outlet for 5 minutes so that it no longer finds Simpllink connections.

Connect your TV.

If you're still on Simpllink, go to the menu and see if you can turn it off ...

Then, if it still appears, you'll need to replace the signboard under warranty (get a copy of the TV repair receipt).

We have an LG TV and I saw on the factory TV remote control that there is only a Simplink for channels and volume. Almost nothing is configured when I click on it. So I don't think we need that. Then I click on the menu, I click on the options and the third option is Simpllink On: Off. I turned it off. Everything works fine and no more popups!
I still have an LG 37 LCD TV after 5 years and all of a sudden this problem arises. But I can't see anything on TV about the Simpllink connection. This connector is not present in the back of the TV. Please say
