SIM Card (Subscriber Identity Module) Card

A programmable smart card in a mobile device that provides network access. Contains codes (such as IMSI) that identify a digital mobile subscriber and information about the specific services the subscriber has chosen to use. A SIM card can be a removable plastic card with built-in memory and a processor chip, or it can be built into a mobile device.
