Order Of The Bear
Is the bear's order real? 3
I saw it at Avalon High, but I wonder if it really exists.
The Order of the Bear is a purely legendary creation of Meg Ct in the novel Avalon High. There is no such reference to the Order of Calarix in any other Arthurian text, or in any historical document of Roman or medieval England.
The bear's label comes from a possible interpretation of the name Arthur. The origin of the name is uncertain, it could be a traditional Celtic or English name, the exact meaning of which is still unknown. But some authors, perhaps the most imaginative, suggest that it comes from the Greek word for bear, Arcturus. No one denies this view, but many people support it. An ancient Irish name is Arthur, first mentioned in the seventh century AD, but its onomastic etymology is unknown.
Arthurian myths are fascinating, an important part of the European literary tradition, and they are also useful for seeing the real world of the end of Roman England, as history and archeology have shown. But they also attract a lot of Tosh fans :)

Meg Ct's 2005 novel Avalon High is a work of fiction.
The Book's Order of the Bear is a myth used by the author to reinforce certain beliefs and allegiances of the book's characters about The Legend of King Arthur.
I was surprised to find questions about the unpublished works of fiction in the books and authors category. You may not know it, but it appears in the Anthropology section! A. I stopped answering your question because the ethics of the LIbr order do not allow me to ignore your desire to learn.
good luck
No, a fantasy. There is no rare archeological evidence that King Arthur ever existed. A fantasy magazine of centuries. There are many fantasy elements, including some ancient prehistoric myths from the west of England.
With all of Merlin's crazy work that I found in the answers here, it's entirely possible that Order of the Bears is the original (or a similar version).
