My boyfriend used NyQuil a year ago and melatonin 10 minutes ago. I'm afraid you've eaten too much. I know this may sound irrational, but still.

Your concerns are irrational. Melatonin is not a sleeping pill. It doesn't actually sleep, it just helps some people sleep. It doesn't work for everyone.

Swallowing it with cold medicine will not have any negative effect.

It is OK to take melatonin and NyQuil together unless you have more than the recommended dose for both.
