My Permanent Retainer Broke
Eternity broke after 19 years. what will you do? 3
I have children between the ages of 10 and 12. For the next 2 years I had the top and permanent adhesive retainer behind my other 6 lower front teeth. I'm in my thirties now. My permanent support has just entered the area between the 2 SS stickers. So it still sticks well, but it looks like I now have 2 separate brackets glued together, if that makes sense. I do not currently have dental insurance and the money is tight. The broken part doesn't bother me the least bit. I don't know if I can bother fixing it. Since decades have passed and my upper teeth have not moved, I thought my lower teeth would be less likely to move. What am i going to do
You have three cices.
1. Get a new permanent term.
2. Remove permanent support and get removable support.
3. Remove the permanent retainer and use the Waitandsee app. Check your teeth carefully for changes so you will be given a container if necessary.
Whatever you choose, you should never give up.
Since finances are a problem, you can choose number 3. Or call your local dentist and ask for a price.
