Is Jalpino Pepper Pink? 3

When I cut some of my jalpinus, the regular seed membrane turns almost pink / red. I never saw it before and I threw it away because I have too much pepper, but what is it?

So it looks like you have a perfectly cooked pepper.

Not often. If left unchecked, all peppers will turn red, as you already know. Ignore it.
