I'm writing a Srt story set in Ireland in the 1970s ... is there any abuse that Irish people use to refer to friends (as in the US, let's say friends)?

Any help is welcome. And it would be very encouraging if someone offered a great Irish language from the 1970s. Thank you very much!

Irish colloquialism, also called Gamon or Kent, is arguably the funniest but strangest language I've ever heard. This is how you talk to other passengers. Fun is a word for a friend. sulee (sooblik) is a term for friends / colleagues.
