Moisten brick with water before applying this cleaner. In a bucket, mix 1 gallon of water with 1/8 cup of trisodium phosphate (TSP). Gently apply this cleaner to the stone and only to the stone. Scrub the stones with a brush to clean them. Wash with warm water. Rinse again to make sure all the teaspoon has been removed from the stone.
