How To Get A Job At Petsmart
How do I find a job at Petsmart? 3
I look forward to working as a Reptile Trainer at Pet Mart. I went to the store to apply and they said you should apply online. So I did this a year ago without any response. It really disappoints me because I have 8 reptiles myself and I have raised and worked with many other reptiles. I also look for them almost every day. However, the reptile master at the local pet store knows nothing about reptiles. I wonder if I will be able to work at Petsmart. These people don't know anything about how animals work in a pet store, but I haven't got a job there yet, not just reptiles but cats, dogs, IBS, ferrets, turtles. Even after years of experience with coins. Sugar gliders, rabbits, hamsters, guinea pigs and frogs? I just want to know what they did to get the job I wanted.
updateI know they don't take good care of the animals. I keep a lot of my animals there. That's one of the reasons I wanted to work there. And in terms of veterinary knowledge, Petsmart doesn't seem to need it because I was there and I met 3 different employees who have been working there for at least a year (I'm there every week so I told them And not yet, I know the difference between fresh and salted fish or aquarium-making or reptiles. I can't work at petco, otherwise I will. The next closest thing to me was about 2 hours from my destination. And for retail, I've been a crazy cashier for almost 3 years.
Amazingly I work at FABULOUS Petsmart which FABULOUS takes care of our animals. We spend tens of dollars controlling mice and hamsters! If animals are abused, the management or supervisor must be notified. At Petsmart, no animals should be abused or abused. If the branch management does not take care of this, you should talk to your DM or company.
Reptile manager is not a job. Caring for pets will be the job of caring for reptiles ... it's a lot of work ... not just playing with animals. You should also take care of the other animals in the store.
Second, Petsmart provides care for reptiles and other pets and contains a number of books that we can refer to for information on reptiles. While we may know other facts about reptiles, we should only provide information that is approved by Petsmart, as there is a lot of conflicting information about the best way to raise animals.
My pets don't even have saltwater fish, so I like to make a nest ... I don't know and I would recommend it to my manager and / or local aquarium expert.
I believe that learning and perseverance are the keys. I don't have a small animal and I don't know much, but I'm learning. Cats are just for me. I have a good degree and I work hard.
My best advice for finding a job ... talk to pet managers and nurses. Apply online and let them know. Don't act like a geek (there's one in our shop showing us on the wall) or like you're doing some kind of work. Yes, we all respond from time to time. We all change the garbage bags. We all have records. We clean all the dirt and fill the shelves.
You can choose your own way of working with your pet, but the style of Petsmart is what matters at Petsmart.
And our products are veterinary certified and thoroughly tested by Petsmart.
PS Having pets is hard work, but no. I really love my work!
Apply online, then go to the store and ask about the hiring manager. Please give my name ___ and I just want to tell you that I have applied online. I have experience with reptiles and I am interested in other pets. This would be a great plus for your pet care service, but I'm ready to move to a different area of the store. It gives a good impression and gives the manager a sense of your friendship and ability to communicate with others. Petsmart does not act as a reptile manager. Whatever you say, be clear and clear, don't share the store ... but if you have no answer in a few weeks, call back and express your interest. Applications are usually sorted by date of graduation. As an employer, I call the latest applicants first, as long as everyone has a month or more to look for a different job.

There are many reasons not to contact you. Your animal experience is not as important as your retail experience. You want someone who manages money and knows how to run a cash register. Chances are, if you do, you won't work with animals. You become a cashier.
If it was a year, I would recommend it. If they are hiring, they will be back to interview you soon.
Unfortunately, this has nothing to do with the ability to work at a pet store like Petsmart. They only get services when they need them and this is the first time they hire you. Better a poor horse than no horse at all. But Pet Mart, Petland and pet supermarkets seem to be the worst representatives for sellers. Because it's you, the seller.

I can't find work there, it's a bunch of idiots. My friend works at Fish Manger. And one ■■■■■ asked him to clean the ■■■■■ on the other side of the store because he was too lazy to do that. You can find work in petco.
(PS I'm talking about Pet Mart in Melbourne, in front of Mall Melbourne Square)
Well I've been working there for about a year now and you got to know a little bit about animals and the rest they taught you. When I read I only knew about fish and now I know about animals. I don't know anything I learned so much that I leaned forward. The reptiles and I fell in love with them and now I have 2 snakes that I will buy and raise soon. I have 3 frogs. And I want more. But all you need is a skill to keep only animals, not fish because you work so hard in the fish department, you never really work in the RDS department, reptiles or small animals and I can work fast. Yes, my friend has one. Find another store nearby and a week later.
Edit ... I work in daycare, not as a cashier ...
