How To Erase A Non Rewritable Dvd
Is there a way to wipe the hard drive safe from reuse? 3
I have a DVD with data. Can I delete it to reuse it for more data? Or should I buy more discs? This disc is not rewritable!
No, you can't do that because the laser in your computer's DVD drive actually burns the data in it. Basically, heals the disc. You can't remove it because Burner has no way to repair the damage to the DVD. If you plan to use the DVD more than once, get a DVDRW. They can be used to the maximum. However, DVDRs (disposables) are much cheaper. So if you just want to record a movie and give it to someone else, this may be your best option.
If you haven't completed the DVD, you can add more content, but you can't delete the existing data because it's a DVDR, not a DVDRW. I always use DVDr for photos and keep adding to it until the disc is full. Thank you very much
After all, CDRW is the only disc on which you can delete information or music and re-insert it. But if it's like an AOL CD or another manufacturer's CD that doesn't, you can't reuse it because it has encoding that anyone can write.
You can take a eraser on a pencil or buy one and erase the disc. I do this all the time so I don't have to buy any more records.

write-one is exactly what it is, you can't hack or do anything, you can only use it once.
If you are looking for a rewritable DVD, they have the DVDRW label.
They cannot be deleted. DVDRW is the only erasing DVD.
