How To Count Lines In A Play Script
Are you counting the lines in the room? 3
I want to know how to count the letters in the room correctly. Do they talk every time or something? Thank you very much!
Well, basically you count the characters whenever you speak and count every sentence of it. If you say a sentence twice, your character will have two lines.
In general, every time your character speaks, it counts in a line. pay attention:
A: Where are you today?
B: I'm fine, but I don't like the rain.
For this reason. (Notice on an RD) But RDS off!
A has 2 lines and B has 1 line.
In some editions of Shakespeare, each line is numbered. So when you talk about Shakespeare, you mean.
Whenever your character speaks. Whether in a group or alone ... you must know the line :)
