How Many Amps Does A Water Softener Use
Will the 20 amp circuit breaker work for water softener, freezer, dishwasher and garbage disposal? 3
The NEC will avoid this because it limits the amperage of devices connected to a circuit with multiple outlets to 50%, and you are more likely to be physically overloaded. I will not do this unless I try to buy a low power / low capacity device. Here is what I found (besides the fabric softener I had to check the glasses online).
Dishwasher 9.9 MP
5.0 MP freezer
4.5 MPS
1.5 Amp Water Softener (24V / 75 goes to power factor less than 50% in worst case)
_____________
20.9 MPS If you can use a more efficient rig than my 10 year old rig, it might work, but you'll cut it well, if you can avoid it, it's not a good project. ۔
Amplifiers yes, but freezers are better on dedicated circuits. Freezers and dishwashers use the most energy, and if both are turned on at the same time, the circuit breaker can trip and you run the risk of losing food from the freezer. The other elements are superficial and not all together. Place the freezer on a special circuit.
Assuming number 2 is used at the same time, it should work. Still, there is a good reason why everything on your list usually has its own circuit.
I don't want to use it.
