Does Hermet need a humidifier? 3

I've had them for 3 days and I think they like it ... but I read that they need some moisture but they are at the pet store in this condition ... so I'm just curious

Pets are there for the money, there is a lot of important data for proper care in your care sheet that will significantly prolong your life, I bought two hermits from Petsmart and the humidity is 10% which Suitable for desert and non-tropical conditions. Substrate, tank and water provide the moisture your tank needs. Get a hygrometer to check the humidity even my meter with screen cover says 80% humidity!

Hermet crab needs

Angry hermits can live up to 30 years or more, so they should not be considered stray pets, although they cannot complain about poor living conditions in a limited space in animal homes, businesses and apartments. Buy more than one. Hermits are very social animals by name and should be in groups. They are found in the forest of Dreads. Although it is almost impossible to keep it away, your crab will be left alone with one or two extra ■■■■■ to live with. Your social role models are more easily observed when you are at least 69 years old, although you can certainly get a lot out of them.

2. Adequate moisture

Maximum humidity is 65% to 80%, but oxygen exchange can be as good as 55% to 60%. Mesh-walled tanks do not work alongside traditional Cl, plastic or acrylic cabinets. Proper humidity must be maintained and the mesh tank will not allow this to happen under normal circumstances. It is important not to cover the tank completely so that the moisture is not too high and it explodes. There is no known cure for this disease. Pure coverage used on reptiles is ideal as it can cover parts to regulate moisture. You'll need a cover to keep the hermits out of control, as they can be an escape artist and, unnoticed, can stop you from finding them quickly. Hermits are tropical animals and need a mild temperature. 7585 F is a reasonable temperature range. Heat loss is irreversible and very low temperatures slow down cancer metabolism. An unfavorable environment can cause your crab to become sluggish and inactive, lose limbs and eventually.

Sponge Care A large natural sponge in a bowl of water is a very effective way to remove moisture from the air. The sponge pumps moisture into the air and provides a large portion of the surface for water vapor. The key to using sponges is to use more than one sponge so you can remove them and prevent mold or bacteria from growing. Proper care includes simply rinsing thoroughly with water, then soaking in sea salt solution, and finally rinsing with decolorized water to protect your sponge investment and the health of your hermit. Squeeze out the excess water and let it dry completely. If further disinfection is required, place the completely dry sponge in the microwave for two minutes. Do not place a wet (or wet) microwave sponge in the microwave as the sponge will melt quickly and become nothing! Large natural sponges are expensive and must be cared for, they stay in the water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, creating a breeding ground for bacteria that can be harmful to your health. Yes, while trouble sponges do not clean.

6. Different substrates

Which substrate to use makes Hermit happy? Many hermit ■■■■■ use coconut fiber, called eco-fiber, and is available at most pet stores. Hermits like to dig and dig to eat in non-chlorinated water, and during melting, hermits dig to hide in the dark when melting. Some hermit keepers, such as small round aquarium gravel, animal grays, are primarily for dry use and do not allow the hermit to form and reappear, shed itself, and only dig or dig or increase moisture. Field gravel, if it enters your body, can erode your external structure or damage soft tissues. Ordinary quartz sand is not good because it is best made with coconut sand or hermetic crab. Pure silica sand dust is dangerous to breathe.

Pine or cedar wood chips are not good because the juice is toxic and difficult to extract. Coconut coconut (also called St Bedding®, BedA® and EcoEarth®) is very good at absorbing moisture.

4. Clean water without chlorine without copper

Water should be decontaminated. Copper, such as chlorine, chloramines and heavy metals, can leak into most natural faucets or mineral water and cause blisters, causing suffocation, inverted / lost hermetics and how I feel.

Humidifiers are a great way to increase humidity when normal foods are not working. You may not need it. Even if you do, there are many cheap moisturizers you can do to get the job done.

Foam can be very helpful in increasing and stabilizing moisture. Thoroughly prepare the mousse, dip it in salted water and place in the microwave for a few seconds. You can stick it in the second layer or corner of the tank. Hiawatha Moss is a great idea.

As long as your tank has a mesh cover, you can partially cover it with spray film to retain moisture from the daily musting machine.
