I've had them for 3 days and I think they like it ... but I read that they need some moisture but they are at the pet store in this condition ... so I'm just curious
Pets are there for the money, there is a lot of important data for proper care in your care sheet that will significantly prolong your life, I bought two hermits from Petsmart and the humidity is 10% which Suitable for desert and non-tropical conditions. Substrate, tank and water provide the moisture your tank needs. Get a hygrometer to check the humidity even my meter with screen cover says 80% humidity!

Sponge Care A large natural sponge in a bowl of water is a very effective way to remove moisture from the air. The sponge pumps moisture into the air and provides a large portion of the surface for water vapor. The key to using sponges is to use more than one sponge so you can remove them and prevent mold or bacteria from growing. Proper care includes simply rinsing thoroughly with water, then soaking in sea salt solution, and finally rinsing with decolorized water to protect your sponge investment and the health of your hermit. Squeeze out the excess water and let it dry completely. If further disinfection is required, place the completely dry sponge in the microwave for two minutes. Do not place a wet (or wet) microwave sponge in the microwave as the sponge will melt quickly and become nothing! Large natural sponges are expensive and must be cared for, they stay in the water 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, creating a breeding ground for bacteria that can be harmful to your health. 6. Different substrates

When I have a hermetic to keep it moist, I just spray it with a spray bottle. He did a great job.
