Fusion Team - How To Discuss

Fusion Team

The Merger Team is an interdisciplinary team that combines technology or analytics and business expertise and shares responsibility for business and technology results. Rather than organizing work by function or technology, merger teams are typically organized by the cross-functional business opportunities, business outcomes, or customer outcomes they support.

Fusion teams do not have a prescribed reporting structure. Team leaders or members can report to specialized IT departments or non-IT departments. Fusion teams often start out as Agile or Scrum project teams and gradually adopt a product management discipline to master end-to-end capabilities from strategy to delivery and continuous improvement.
