Do Mta Machines Take Coins
Does MTA Metro Card accept coins or US dollars only? 3
All MetroCard Vending Maes at NYC subway stations, Staten Island Railway (St. George / Tompkinsville), Eltingville Transit Center (State Island), Stead Transit Center (NICE Bus Station) and Roosevelt Island Tramway accept cents and half dollars.
The machine accepts dollars and coins. They also accept debit and credit cards.
The only coins they don't accept are change.
I recently found out that both of them accept dollar coins which they give in return. That's a good thing. I'm afraid to be with them.
