Data synchronization,
Definition of Data synchronization:
Accurate reconstruction and/or re-sequencing of data to ensure its integrity, upon its restoration after a disaster or interruption. Since data is collected at different times (and from different sources) during a data backup cycle, restored data must be brought to a state that existed at a certain moment before the disaster or interruption occurred. Data synchronization requires availability of printed or electronic records containing data up to that moment.
