Crawl Depth
That's how well the site is indexed. Or how many clicks it takes to get to a particular page from the home page. The further away you are, the less likely you are to rank high in the search results. Pages with good internal links are no problem here.
This is a term that describes the level at which a search engine indexes the pages of a particular website. Look at any decent site and you'll see that it has main pages and subpages that go deeper and deeper, like files on a computer. The crawl depth is calculated from the home page (which has a depth of 0), after which each associated page has a depth of 1. This number increases as you move further from the receiving page. Usually you want to find the most important pages in three clicks.
Crawl depth is the extent to which a search engine indexes a site.
You can check this by checking the page depth, i.e. seeing how many clicks it takes to get to a page from the home page. The lower the pages are placed, the more useful it is to rank high in search results.
You can mitigate this problem by using breadcrumb trail and internal links.
