updateWhat if I put the fabric directly on the 4x4 and do not use any material?
Did I use any material or put the fabric directly on the column?
Did you use anything for the top rail, wire or wood?
Of course you can if you want to. Use fence clips. It doesn't look good, because that's not what you're used to. Pull well and you'll be fine. I did this last week. Do not use landscaping wood for letters as it will not last long and the cost will remain the same. I like to use T-shaped metal posts between the forested corners of the farm tent. I have replaced the fences of the first fence with old wood after only 25 years of use. Reusable metal lines with paint. Cold galvanized gray is the best color. They are cheaper and faster to install from the mast ladder. Once this is done, paint them, the fence will continue and they will look better for longer. They don't look like pieces of wood in the yard. My 2 fences are 300 feet long and working fine.

Chain Link Fence With Wood Posts
I just installed one. I drew a flat strip of aluminum 2.5 cm wide and 1 cm thick. I cut it into 6-inch pieces, twisted them in half to make a rope that I could attach to the pole to secure the tie rod. Absolutely worked. The original square tape is hard to find, especially given its actual 3-inch length. The size of the letters is 4 by 4, we use ballasters to spread the fence. I also used 1 1/2 inch galvanized staples to secure the fence fabric to the top rail and line posts. Here in Indiana sometimes experience cold winters, I planted posts 3 feet deep and 1 foot wide (slightly wider in the corners) to keep them below freezing. This went on for years.
Wire fence material is for metal posts. In 4x4 it won't work very well, if at all.
Sorry, but it's best if you use the right posts and hardware or build a wooden fence that fits well.
