How many sigma and pie bonds are there in CH3CHCHCO2H? 3
Nobody understands this yet. I'll sketch here as much as I can.

So I put carbon there with a double bond. We have two double bonds, one between two carbons and one between carbon and oxygen.
The first carbon also has 3 H,
The other has 1 H.
The third is 1 H.
And the fourth carbon also has OH.
Remember that every double bond also has a sigma bond.
There are 11 Sigma Bonds and 2 Pie Bonds.
