Cat Scratch Proof Mattress Protector
Is there a mattress protector to prevent cats from scratching my mattress and springs? 3
I'd like to use a plastic or rubber shield instead of a chemical shield.
You should use the masking sheet that you have placed on the edge of the mattress as a sticky foot. Or you can get a notepad. I gave my cat a foam pad (he always scratches everything !!) and he stopped scratching anything but the pad. (They do this to sharpen their claws)
You should break the behavior instead of just adding shields to it. Can you close the bedroom door so it doesn't come in and scratch? Or, if they are in bed, sprinkle water on them. Another option is soft claws. It's great to hear them. If you do not agree, this is an alternative to nails. You've probably tried everything (except closing the door?) And you're not sure which blanket to use for your mattress that won't disturb your sleep ...

The best way to prevent my cat from scratching furniture, curtains, etc. Trim your nails (only the front foot) and keep them indoors. They did not want their claws to break when they left, they would not be able to defend themselves. Because of all the dangers in the world, it's best to keep your cat indoors.
