I know everyone has insurance issues, but the state has been good for me over the years. My agent has recently retired and I have been hired as a new agent. At least I got an incompetent new employee and they kept pressuring me to get more insurance. My parents got state farm insurance through family friends and they love this agency and its employees. They never call to sell it and always try to find a way to save their money. Can I hire an agent for a State Agricultural Company? And if so, will my policy be transferred to a new agent or will I have to cancel my existing policy, wait for clicks, new prepaid policy etc.? ? Thanks for all your help !!

Very! There are several ways you can do this. First, you can contact your current agent's office and they can forward your policy to another agency. Or, if you are not sure if this is done for you, you can also contact the agent you want to transfer to the agent selection number (at least we call it GA). They can transfer it to you without contacting another agent's office.

Migration does not change your policy. They simply disappear from the old agent's system and reappear on the new agent's computer. You will receive a SF notification when the transfer is complete.
