It's kind of confusing, so there's no definitive answer. Your best bet is to research the two races that meet and evaluate from there. It's also good to research two breeds and make sure you can really provide proper care (and exercise needs) for your dog.
It will be difficult for anyone to determine appearance, temperament and general health because mixed race is basically a mixture of everything.

Just because your neighbor's dog looks great doesn't mean other dogs in the same mix will look the same.
