I've read all but one of Dave Pelzer's books, and he really touched me. I actually met him in person at my local barns and location and it was really an experience to hear him talk about his experiences. I thought it would be a great idea for a movie. I know it will hurt a lot of people. (Because of what happened)

When I was a kid, maybe between 1988-1993, my mother and I watched a movie about a boy. The film bears a striking resemblance to Dave Pelzer's book, A Child Called It. I remember a mother was tried in court for abusing her son. I guess so, but I'm not sure, this is a movie of a lifetime. Does anyone know the title of this movie?
